I need you guys to make a decision for me. I am planning to purchase a Sig pistol in .40 short and gay. I can't decide between a P226 or a P229.

I might carry it later on in its life but I carry full size pistols so extra barrel length does not bother me.

Give me your thoughts my dudes.

I'd also recommend getting it chambered in 9MM and investing in some quality expanding ammunition. There isn't much point to the .40 if you plan on carrying it.

Also the Beretta Cougar 8040's in .40 cal give me a hard on, but they are discontinued, one ones make by Beretta in Italy are anyway

yeah for 40 call go 229. Slides a little beefier and it was designed around that round.
