Nothing. Century put .308 barrels on the VZ-2008.

It increases accuracy but decreases barrel longevity.

Nothing. Its likely pressures are slightly increased but I couldn't imagine it being enough to matter. I load .311 bullets for my really shot out M1 Garand. Definitely helps with accuracy.
