Why is 7.92x57 the best proportioned (bullet weight, case capacity, caliber) cartridge in history?
Odd way to spell 7.62x39

I think you mean 7x57.
8mm Mauser is like a stronk German girl who snores loudly.
I prefer 6.5x55. She is like a tall, thin, elegant Scandinavian fairy.

Something that perfectly splits the difference between 5.56x45 and 7.62x51 would be perfect. And I am not just talking about bullet size and weight. I am also talking about case dimensions and powder charge. So a 6.5x48 that can uses about 32-33 grains of powder and launches about a 105-110 gr bullet would be perfect.

You mean the 375 H&H
>>34754113
Snoring is genetic or epigenetic weakness from poor jaw development, immune deficiencies, and/excess fat

hi I'm also a faggot, want to exchange pics or go on skype :*?
>>34754055
More importantly why is it not more available? And why is it priced so high?
>>34754232
No. A casing that splits the dimensions of 5.56 and 7.62. Most 6.5 class cartridges out there are for hunting or long range and the case would be too fat for a fighting, military cartridge.
>nobody posting 6mm lee navy
plebs

German sS ball from around WWII was one of the best cartridges ever used, and was supersonic past 1000 yards, which is still good by today's standards. Also can't argue with a .32 cal bullet that weighs almost 200 fucking grains.
I have a weird fascination with smokeless military cartridges with very heavy bullets, like Austrian 8×50 has to be the most amusing to me.

>why is it not more available?
It's been out of service with any major power since 1945, and any minor power since 2002.
>And why is it priced so high?
Civilian demand is not high compared to the quantities required by military contract, so it's not economical for most cartridge manufacturers to make it.

You missed your numbers, but it's okay. You clearly meant to type 7.62x63. Common mistake.

I thought so too, but when I remove the worst parts the picture looks funny.
