in case of misfire keep muzzle down range and keep face away from ejection port as you try to fix in case of delayed primer
"cease fire" means cease fire. slide open mag out muzzle downrange.
bring the gun in a case soft rifle case is fine as long as its in something (this depends on state thought)

basically never aim the gun anywhere except downrange, and tinkering or jam fixing also done with muzzle down range. keep face away from ejection port, delayed primes do occur and the last thing you want is to have a round go off as you open the bolt near your face
