I don't know why these future helmet designs always obstruct vision more than anything. Making a visor large enough to cover what most of your eyes can see would be 100x times better than those tiny eye holes on it right now.

That being said, your scenario is more of a police problem, less of a soldier problem. No helmet in the world is going to unfuck you for letting an enemy get that close
