What's the benefit of single-seater fighters when having a RIO or co-pilot grants greater task distribution and greater aggressiveness in fights on average?
in a side to side cockpit like su-34 has, the comfort co-pilot can even give a blowjob to the pilot

Disadvantage of B and D variants
>Takes up space or weight
>Wave drag
>cost of extra avionics
>extra training
It's not necessary for most things nowadays, computers mostly replaced them.

How does this work? Does the co-pilot yell "YOU CAN DO ITT!!!!" or something?

How bad really is the wave drag? Surely with the discrete electronics that modern planes have you'd be able to use the same avionics, just with an additional set of monitors and an additional brodie with which to look at them?

i would image that most tasks handled by the co pilot can be done remotely now.

In a similar way to how hunter-killer systems in tanks work, except with radar and visual contact.

More room for fuel. Fuel tank is usually the thing that loses volume to allow bigger cockpit. In case of some fighters gun has to go as well, but usually just internal fuel capacity is lost.

there is more room for the direct injection system

An extra body, ejection seat, and electronics adds quite a bit of weight that could have been used on fuel
idk im sure some pilots would like a copilot while others feel better without someone on their shoulder

To put it into perspective, the VTOL lift Fan on the F-35B takes away about as much space as an RIO would (and would probably be draggier).
That's a 100nm reduction in combat radius since on the A and C variant that space is used entirely for fuel.
