What would a completely original mint condition WW2 era (1945ish) Mauser K98 with unit ensignias and everything sell for today?
Assuming all parts are completely original and in complete working order, how much could you sell one for?
Also, general WW2 rifles thread.
Is there even anything wrong with this gun? This shit is godlike, only the Brown Bess Musket has been produced as long as this has.
Literally the best bolt-action rifle ever made.
It is the current year and people are STILL making rifles out of this bolt

At least 1500 to 2k or more.
The Germans didn't use unit markings by the time the Kar.98k went into service. They were only marked by branch of service: Kreigsmarine, Heer, and Luftwaffe. There are some Kar.98k manufactured for Waffen-SS contract that have SS-only acceptance marks, but not really anything more distinctive.

You couldn't afford that museum grade goodness
I really want a Mauser in 8mm. I've been looking at Vz. 24's, M24's, and M48s and it seems that 300-350 Is the normal price for shootable examples in decent condition. Does that sound correcr?
How much should I expect to pay for an actual German Mauser with Waffenampt? I wouldn't mind if it was a mixmaster or Russian capture, just want a shootable German Mauser.

Those Yugos are pieces of shit compared to a vz24.

>It is the current year and people are STILL making rifles out of this bolt
>unironically falling for the "everything is a mauser" meme

Some yugos are German ones re-stamped. There is usually a few waffenampts that they missed. Easiest way to tell if it says Mod. 98/48
