You should just watch it for its merit, not for the memes. It's an animated space opera that ran from the late 80's to the late 90's and it's 110 episodes long. So unless you like animated space operas about pew pew shooty ships with a couple dozen important characters, you should probably steer clear. Although you can just stream it all on kissanime or something so, I guess you can watch the fist few episodes to see if you like it. A word of warning though: the first few episodes are a bit on the slow side so keep that in mind.

its balanced for f2p tho theres way too much cheese in form of invisibility, invincibility, rocket arms and teleport. of course you will need to grind for the weapons and characters you want to use but the starting borma is literally invincible and his gun is not bad, plus theres a free character that keeps rotating.

the market store got some revamp asides a rebalance that restricted weapons and grenades so its real hard to find something P2W currently, more like niche weapons for niche characters.
