Well /k/. Whats the best tactical knife out there. I'm a 68w Op40 poolee for the US Army and my dad was an infantry officer for the USMC for 15 years. Weve had a little pawn shop for my whole life and im what youd call a gun nut. Yet I know jack shit about knives and my dad keeps trying to make me buy a Ka-Bar but im not too big of a fan. Whats a good priced, trusty, and well built tactical/hunting fixed blade knife on the market. Should I invest in MACV-SOG knives as well?

Pretty much this. Mora's hands down the best value you can get in a fixed blade on the market, and will do everything you need it to.
