let's put it that way, suppose you are a taliban commander and you know a platoon of either green berets or seals goes your way, whom should you be scared more?

Most of SEALs do are short operations focused on demolition/sabotage near water. If it isn't near a coast or a river, they're probably not going to touch it.

Greenies are basically deployed as long-term guerillas in enemy territory. They also train and advise locals.

The Green berets would be training people to fight me, sabotaging my supplies, and ambushing my men.

SEAL missions (that we know of) are more about traditional raids and tactical combat

Army SF is more covert, involves training local militias, need to learn 2 additional languages, probably better at survival missions.

My guess is that SEALs do better in the kill house but Army SF does better in the woods with no equipment.
