When is a gun too expensive? What are your tips on buying guns? What should I pay attention to? How do I determine whether or not I'm being ripped off?

I am a pleb of guns and just had recently started considering them. Your assistance is very appreciated

General rule of thumb is to never pay MSRP, and never pay full price for a used gun even it the seller says like new.

As for AI rifles, good luck getting that info here
