French Foreign Legion is your best bet if you are looking for an actual group with military structure and government oversight. They are always getting deployed to some shithole in africa to put down insurrections of 90 lb skinnies.

Ukraine or Syria would be better if you just want to get into combat as quickly as possible and don't care about going through some seriously shady shit to get there.

btw, what's your MOS? I did an enlistment as an 0351 from 2008-12. Got my 2 combat pumps to Afghan and (legitimately) earned my CAR. I saw the peacetime incoming and promptly got the fuck out. I feel for you having to suffer through that bullshit.
