I've looked at all the other "top" companies but no one comes close to Albion in terms of accuracy and finish (easy giveaway is the space between the guard and the blade). Why are Albions so damn expensive?
Also which one would you get if you can pick one?

I think you answered your own question. The eastern euros have some great smiths as well, equal to Albion but using different methods to make their swords.

The other reason Albions are expensive is that they are made in America. Lots of little costs that add up.

I got an Albion, but I'd have been happy with plenty of other options (like the E.Euro smiths I mentioned above).
