I enjoy reloading stupid hot loads with this dumb Lee hand loader set. The single action is nice because I don't have to resize the rounds and it takes the hot loads like a ten dollar whore.

How's the recoil on a .357 rifle?
I'm thinking of getting a Henry but I'm scared the kickback might be too light, I don't like shooting guns that feel like air rifles

I got my Lee Loader manual at home that I can look up later if you're interested in anything specific.

In general if you're loading nonjacketed bullets you want to keep the pressures low.

Also if you have the New Vaquero in .45 LC keep in mind that is the only Ruger revolver that doesn't handle high pressure loads because of it matching the original Colt dimensions. The .357 mag New Vaquero handles them fine because the smaller round gives enough space in the cylinder to have extra steel.
