The MP7 was used all for a week before being dropped because SOCOM Snowflake Machinists were sick and tired of literally hosing down targets during engagements because 4.6 and 5.7 wasn't dropping sand niggers fast enough, and was also causing them to carry ample ammunition because they were burning through ammunition so quickly.
