Coastal Bend here. Only decent shooting range is CCPRC, otherwise you have Starry who don't clean up the range, only let you use the private bays if you're competing in a match, charge you per gun you're shooting, and generally act like they wish you weren't there. Nichols Guns is alright, usually not that busy, but it's indoors. Same goes for Sharpshooters, but busier. Schwenke's gets the Rtards and is a 45 minute drive from me.
