Alright /k/, what have been the worst concealed carry guns throughout history?

i dont know. ive been thinking of carrying a flintlock or a matchlock pistol. what do you guys think?
>>
>That image

One of these things is not like the other.
>>
>>34649549
sorry not a matchlock, a caplock.
>>
>>34649537
Those iver johnsons were actually good for their time.

I like my Raven
>>
>>34649537
Those Iver Johnsons are legitimately good guns though. Pepperboxes weren't bad for their time either. Hi-Point, while looking absolutely disgusting, aren't terrible either.

Guy who made the image is pretty much confirmed noguns
>>
>>34649537
Nambu. Just touching the side causes it to fire
>>
Remington R51.
Since it was actually designed specifically for that purpose and was garbage.
>>
>>34649568
>>34649935
hi points have terrible reliability.
Stop lying to yourselves.

Came here to post this. Touted as being a great CC pistol and was absolute shit.

>>Grip Zone Safety
But anon, where so you hold it?
>>
>>34650259
Hi points are extremely reliable
>>
Noguns here. Why exactly are these concealed weapons bad or shit?
>>
>>34650422
No they are not.

>>
>>34650356
I normally like the XD and it's variants, but goddamn why does it have I say GRIP ZONE on it, it's so fucking obnoxious. If I had one I'd have to put a grip sleeve on it just to not see that.
>>
>>34650458

So you know which end to hold

obviously
>>
>>34650454
Look up some videos on the Remington R51 as it was originally released in 2014.

This video showcases just a few of it's excellent features:

>>34650356
I've heard of printing "read instruction manual" on a gun, but adding actual instructions is ridiculous
>>
>>34649576
>>34649537
I've actually carried one of those Iver Johnson's in 32 S&W as a backup gun. They make a decent little gutbuster at close range. Plus, they are actually rather well put together for what they are.
>>
The Raven Arms .25 pistol actually works and isn't nearly as shit as people would have you believe. It IS a bad gun, but it's not a grenade and it does feed and eject. and the Hi-point is functionally a great pistol. It just feels and looks terrible.

>>
>>34649572
Nah bro you gotta carry a matchlock. Keep a piece of burning cord on you all the time.

Y'know, for safety.
>>
>>34650221
Not the Type 14 only the Type 94
>>
>>34649537
Whatever RIA's detective special knockoff is called.

About 1:200 shots the trigger doesn't reset.
>>
>>34650485
Super kek'd
>>
(1) .40 caliber round, a nail, and a hammer. Worst loadout ever...
>>
>>34650254
the painful part is that dry handling leaves you feeling "if only remington didn't make this"

a "small" full metal single stack handgun with a grip safety in 9mm should be a home fucking run, especially if they shipped it with wood grip inserts, but (((cerberus group))) had to get that last shekel on final finishing and thought paid reviews would offset selling a gun that you could push the rear sight out of it's dovetail with moderate force.
>>
>>34650485
That's fucking hilarious, someone add "Ammo Zone" on the magazine's baseplate please.
>>
>>34649537
My Concealed Carry hall of shame would be as follows
>Any gun smaller than a .380, unless carried as a backup gun.
>.50 Cal Desert Eagle
>Kimber 9mm 1911. Heavy as fuck, questionable reliability, and low capacity.
>"Grip Zone"
>Carrying any historic or vintage firearm that belongs behind glass or in a safe, instead of some Aliengear holster.
>Bersa Thunder .380. A huge, low capacity, cheap PPK knock off for poorfag James Bond imposters, with a built in lock and magazine disconnect.
>Any .22 mini revolver. You are literal nigger trash and you'll be laughed at when the cops taser you and pull one out of your pants pocket.
>Hi Point. If you carry it in .380, you're retarded, but if you carry any other caliber because it's all you can afford, I'll give you a pass. These are reliable, but ungodly huge.
>>
>>34649568
The pepperbox?
>>
>>34651954
>>.50cal desert Eagle
But anon, don't you know it's all about intimidation? Nobody actually uses their gun anyway desu
>>
>>34649537
Homo

>>34650454
other than raven they aren't
OP is just a fag
>>
all of those guns are fine when they are viewed in the proper context
if you compare the two on the right to high end handguns, then of course you will be disappointed
but they are among the best low cost handguns around and actually have (or had in the case of Ravens) decent quality considering their price

the two on the left are only bad if you try to compare them to modern handguns
fuck, nothing at all is wrong with a safety hammerless except anemic chambering
>>
You're missing the worst offender: the gun that you don't carry because it's <insert-reason-here>.
>>
>>34649537
You ever use a "broom handle mauser" (C96)
I mean 1911 not that fucked, I can atleast fit it in my coat pocket.
>>
>>34652128
>Nobody actually uses their gun anyway
That makes it even worse! You get to lug a few pounds of fuckhueg metal around all day for the fun of doing it
>>
>>34649537
I honestly want one of those hammerless .32 revolvers and one of the .25 pocket pistols. Those break action .32 revolvers are so tiny and cool, I think they'd be fun just to plink around with wax bullets.

I carry an Iver Johnson Safety Hammer revolver in a small pouch sometimes.
>>
>>34660102
i was carrying a little snub nose iver until the top latch broke off while shooting.

ill stick to guns made this century now....i think 1880's it a bit early.
>>
>>34660224

Mine was made in late 1913/early 1914.
>>
>>34660224

If yours was made in the 1880s and you were shooting regular factory ammo it probably broke because the gun is not made for smokeless ammunition.
>>
>>34650485
mount a bayonet marked "Pointy Zone"
