I just inherited a Winchester 1897 shotgun and it seems to be kind of valuable. I'm not really into this particular model either since it's a 16 gauge. The only reason I would keep it is because it might have killed a few Germans in WW1 but I think I'd rather unload it. So my question is this:
How do you sell a gun? I've only ever bought

What do you want for it, I might be interested.
You don't sell inherited guns ya dingus
Keep it or pass it to another family member that will take care of it
Only niggers and white trash meth heads sell heirlooms

It is a 16 gauge, will not be worth very much and im guessing it has the long barrel on it so it would have not been used in ww1. Also, quit being a jigaboo and appreciate what people give you

OK I'll keep this one but I definitely don't want my uncles 1977 Marlin 30-30 so how might I sell that?

Sounds like two cool fudd rifles, I'd keep them OP, you only should sell inheritance like that if it's to another family member or if it didn't mean shit to the guy who owned it. If it was his favorite hunting gun don't sell it.
If you absolutely can't stand to see it, find out what they're going for on gunbroker then sell it on armslist. Make sure you put your number in the add, i don't bother with people who dont

>killed a few Germans in WW1
I doubt it. It was very popular on the civilian market and the military versions had a heat shield and bayonet lug. They also had a bomb symbol stamped on the receiver. I also don't think the military used 16 gauge.
