Floridafag here. Try looking into some fishing shorts. There made of light material (different brands vary in material thickness) and some are made with belt loops so you have the option of carrying on your 4-9 o'clock so any winds don't make you print like a motherfucker.

I don't carry while running, the weight of the gun smacking against my side is uncomfortable and annoying.
