I recently turned 18, I'm looking to get a good older bolt action rifle and I'm open to suggestions
Yugo Mauser.
Weatherby Vanguard.

K31.
Why do you want an old bolt gun anyway? I like collecting too, but you should get something practical with cheap ammo as a first gun. You can get a modern one with more aftermarket, easier optic mounting and better accuracy at a slightly higher cost.

I own a 1943 Mosin and 1950 Yugo Mauser. Literally some of the most fun I've ever had shooting, cleaning, and owning. I paid $150 for the nugget and $450 for the mauser both of which are in excellent condition inside and out.

Honestly if you find a Mosin cheap enough they're still awesome rifles.
But really grab whichever fits your taste appearance wise/price wise if you aren't planning on slapping optics on it. They're all kickass in their own ways.

Mosins are around $300 nowadays since "oh muh milsurps are so kewl" Best bet is to go to a small pawn shop and hope they have one and dont know about the current pricing. I got a 91/30 in decent condition last december for $150.
