What's the most realistic movie gun movie?
I have when I see a movie and the guy is walking around with his finger in the trigger guard the entire time, Ruins the whole movie

>>
Does John Wick count?

Also, not a movie, but watch Strike Back (gun portrayal goes to shit in season 4, but otherwise breddy cool)
>>
Death sentence

>the film stars Kevin Bacon as Nick Hume, a man who takes the law into his own hands after his son is murdered by a gang as an initiation ritual. Hume must protect his family from the gang's resulting vengeance.

very good movie

Street kings

>In the wake of the L.A. riots, an LAPD vice detective (Alcoholic Keanue Reeves) who always went above and beyond the call of duty to keep the streets safe receives a startling wake-up call that leaves him convinced he can no longer employ the tactics that made him so effective in his work

Another great movie.

What is character development? What is a plot? This is why Heat is a good movie, yah it can be slow at times but it's an action drama, so when the shooting starts it hits hard

There's plot and there's filler, and Heat has at least 1 hour of footage that can be cut from the movie

>about how a "nice neighbor" slowly turns into Anton Chigurh.
Not really. He is more of a "every man" who uses guns more then anything. Though you are definatly right on the /k/ommando with the mosin. Really I recommend all of the directors movies. They all have pretty burtal gun use. While also being solid movies.
>>

super realism is gay, holywood hires experts to push all their movies as hyper realistic. Honrdylu
gfsdjlhgsdfo[
gfsdjlk'
honrdylu honestly this keyboard sucks someone movied it i press buttons and it doesnt look like what s popping up on screen
so modern movies are playing catch up. stuff from a few years ago are a period piece where you kind of have to look for films where the director went retarded like heat where they had advisors that knew what they were doing and the director did some weird shit anyway.
>>
>>34630234
Wierd shit aside and all Way of the Gun was a pretty interesting film, had all the advisers and all. Doesn't make sense in a modern setting so it was a peroid peice

>>
>>34630432
I like so few films while watching so many, if the word realism was ever mentioned before it got produced I think the whole thing is going to be a lump of shit. Everyone selling it thinks you're retarded for bothering involving your conscience with it even as simply as viewing if they mention a keyword like realism that they're probably not wrong since AI is going to be directing this shit in a few years anyway instead of them fucking around with their drugs and alcohol addictions and treating poor people like shit.
>>
>>34630554
You know what, since they're such greedy pigs, I'll just let the cat out of the bag for you a bit early. AI when it first comes around is going to do two things.
1st is appeal to the lowest commen demonominator
2nd nobody is going to admit it's AI and not a human alias.

so with the first, the lowest common denominator isn't the viewer, it's the financer. It has to go through the financers before it gets to the viewers.
The real trick is if savvy people are rejecting it as viewers, which won't happen. The lowest common denominator already passed it, and they fuck normies over, they bend them over and fuck them up the ass as often as possible. So don't be surprised if some movie you like now and hear years later it's just crafted entirely by artificial intelligence and humans acted it all out even the non actor parts like recording.
>>
>>34630619
So how about the entire fucking west coast, the governor wasn't even American, he's a drug user, he has an inhuman physique his whole claim to fame is how he used drugs to get that way, as if he didn't fucking deal the drugs too to get rich. It's a fucking joke in the mainstream media that it is an unrealistic standard, like you can be a fucking normie and these freaks are not controlling everything. So his spot in the limelight and real legitimate income not dependent on drugs comes from holywood and these fucking people buy it up. He's obviously in their fucking pocket. Actor that will so or do anything told, with a history of illegal stuff to do that in the first place. What a load of shit, and you just wanna eat up more of their shit and call it realism?

fuck Im sick of TRIGGER DISCIPLINE
that shit didnt exist until the early nineties really. and it's just this thing for people to complain about or demonstrate really.
ww1 to well after vietnam
no operators have ever used trigger discipline
now
>oh man that guy had his finger on the trigger

BFD. if youre in a shooting situation have your fucking finger on the trigger. makes sense. I mean I do it also.
I do the whole trigger discipline thing when I handle guns. I just do it because it seems what legit people would do. I just do it for peer pressure to seem like I know what to do.
actually though
I dont think it makes a difference at all
>>
>>34631886
come on someone give me a YOU
I just need to know what other guys think of trigger discipline
I mean to get upset in film is a bit much
I just cant picture it being this important crucial skill to always maintain
honestly whats wrong with resting your fucking finger over the trigger?
>or maybe its just me but my trigger finger naturally just curls around the trigger through the trigger guard when I hold something with a pistol grip, doesnt even make contact so I just leave it there

unless Im in front of people really

>>
The movie "Open Range" is pretty accurate with period cowboy weapons. The scene where Duval and the rancher unload at each other from four feet and score maybe one hit is spot on. I shoot black powder cartridges in pistol, rifle and shotgun and the amount of smoke is about right in the final shootout scene too. The shotgun blasts knocking people across the alley is a little over the top.
