You ever take a break from your guns /k/? Just take a break from reading about guns, browsing /k/, going to the range, and just put the guns in the closet and forget about them for a couple of months?
That's the stage I'm at right now, I just don't give a shit about my guns or going to the range or shooting. Maybe I'll get back into guns in a month, maybe not, but right now I've had enough
anyone know this feel? maybe im just burned out... i'm not even sure why im posting this here I havent browsed /k/ in a while
I think it is normal to take a break from your hobbies. It helps you re-appreciate them all over again later.
dunno i am pretty indifferent about guns, i love aircraft
i take breaks too because i also love a lot of other things like literature and chatting on the internet

I agree with what >>34621868 said.
I don't see myself ever getting out from guns though.

I take a break from my hobbies maybe once every year or so for maybe a month. It's refreshing.

I spent a couple months last year looking really hard at getting a motorcycle
Was reading up on good gear, riding courses, started watching alot of youtube guys that talk about bikes etc etc
I just got a little burnt out on guns but unfortunately I saw that buying a used bike for your first is like the worst idea ever and my credit is shit so no new bike for me.
Started on a g3 german parts kit build instead and have been tinkering with one of my 1911s to make it carry worthy.

Lately I've been spending my free time kayak fishing instead of shooting. It's cheaper and there's something calming about being on the water at sunrise and hearing the swoosh of my paddle mixed with a mess of frogs and crickets.
When I get paid in a week I'm probably gonna mag dump my AR a few times into the berm and howl because I'm finally done paying off my college debt so I can go back to school and finish my degree.

Congrats on paying off your debt, good job. To the OP, there were times when I couldn't shoot for months, once even about a year, due to being in college, no money or free time. But as soon as I got out of college and got my first job, I have never looked back. guns4lyfe
Kind of. I'm also into 4x4s, hunting, fishing, geology, history and language learning, so it helps to have some diverse interests. Stops you from putting too much energy into one thing at a time.
Also helps that most of the things I'm interested in are a lot cheaper than guns or cars, but that's a different story.
I took like a 6 year break from milsurps to concentrate on obamahoarding, though, so I'm a bit reinvigorated right now with regards to guns
I would if I was an interesting person with more than one hobby.

Yeah I haven't bought a new gun in 8 months. doesn't hurt unless i look at the arsenal threads
