I can't confirm, but I heard that Monarch steel cased ammo is just repackaged Brown Bear. Its all I shoot out of my AK and Chinese SKS and Ive never had a problem with it. I would definitely get it at that price.

Good cheap ammo. It's just other stuff re-branded as "Monarch".

Some of it is Prvi Partizan, some of it is Russian made (I'd guess Tula or something). I'm pretty sure it's all foreign.

I've never had any problem with it.

I like their 62 grain lacquered steel .223. It's like 25 cents per round and its hard to find heavy projectiles for that price. Works fine in my Tavor, Mini-14, AR and Golani.

As other people have said, it's re-branded, but it's decent stuff, definitely better than Tula.

I got a shitload of 9mm makarov from them for a very good price back around two years ago, and while I will say that it was a little dirtier than some of the brass cased East German stuff I used, it was almost as accurate and certainly just as reliable.

Their ammo runs great in most of my guns. The only trouble I've had is with their 30-30. For some reason it likes to stick a little bit in the chamber, but nothing that a swift tug on the lever can't take care of.

I bought Monarch .223 rounds once, cartridge was jammed into my barrel after shooting maybe 60 rounds. Would not recommend that brand. No idea about 7.62

The steel is made by Barnaul, so it could be a couple things. Wolf, Bear,maybe a few others. I use it and prefer it over Tulammo.

Somewhat related, but I know academy is discontinuing their monarch spam cans of 7.62x54r. Mine's selling the stuff at a $40 discount, going to be grabbing one for my M39. have never had an issue with it in that.

I keep forgetting that not everyone rotates through 0% interest credit cards for 18 months and then moves to the next constantly buying and paying it off or rolling over the difference to the next 18 mo 0% card getting what ever I want when ever I want.

I really like their 7.62x39, 9mm Makarov, and 5.56 but I will never buy another box of their 9x19 again. Several boxes I had purchased had failed to fire despite the primer being struck. I tried it in several different 9mm guns and I got the same result.

Paying down the debt and rolling it over at 0% is like having no debt. You get points to buy shit which is more free money and there is price roll back and insurance if you break it with in 90 days. You never pay extra to use their money and in the end you just die with it and get free money. As long as you pay most of it down before rolling it to another 18 month card its kinda a no brainer

If you've got a place nearby, I'd give it a look. I don't think you can get the stuff online, but the guy I talked to in store (who admitted to also browsing /k/) said the stuff isn't selling very quickly. If they carried the stuff in the past, I'd imagine they will likely still have some on hand.

I'm planning to get myself a can next time I'm out. While the can is usually marked at $180 for 360 rounds, now it's $140. I can't think of any other place I can get non-corrosive ammo at $0.40 a round.

Grabbed a couple of the 50 round boxes of their mak ammo, will give that a shot once the mak comes in.

Yes i've heard the same. Up til recently academy was the only big store i could find 5.45x39, but they discontinued it at least at my store.
