Bought an (((IDF))) Orlite helmet. It fits without the suspension system or any pads. I tried some surplus MICH pads I had laying around, but they make the helmet sit on top of my head rather than around it. Can anyone recommend some helmet pads that aren't as thick as the standard MICH pads and that meet ballistic standards?

It was really gunked up when I first got it. So bad that the cylinder wouldn't close reliably and I thought there was something wrong with it. 15min with an oily rag and it's shined up working perfectly again.
