Let's say this global warming thing has some merit.
How does one go about invading the newly exposed areas of the world?
Also, how will loosing 90% of coastal cities affect the world's navies?
The North Pole.

>How does one go about invading the newly exposed areas of the world?
Nothing is newly exposed, it's newly covered up by meters of water.
>Also, how will loosing 90% of coastal cities affect the world's navies?
Poorly

The pics are of estimated land exposure after sea level rise its accounted for.
Well Finland is fuc'd!

>How does one go about invading the newly exposed areas of the world?
Isn't that basically just the Arctic?
Antarctica is going nowhere fast, and everywhere else is already spoken for.

>beings this retarded
The whole premise of changing sea levels is that the water is mostly locked away as glaciers stuck on land. The sea levels rise when the glacial masses all being to melt, destabilize, and dump both liquid water AND ice into the ocean. During the last glacial maximum, most of what is now Canada and Alaska was COVERED in ice sheets easily a mile thick in many places.

Antarctica wouldn't have anything green on it at least for a few decades (centuries if humans didn't exist because we're surely going to take steps to make it habitable). It would be gray and black rock, a hard rocky surface that would be hard to walk on. It would take a while for the bigger rocks to break down and form a surface that we could easily walk on.

>he doesn't know how glaciers work
Every single area that used to have glaciers running through would have valleys full of ground up and worn material.

>During the last glacial maximum, most of what is now Canada and Alaska was COVERED in ice sheets easily a mile thick in many places.
and this is a problem how?
>>34613189
It's not a problem? My point is just that virtually all of the sea level rise and fall is due to ice locked up in icesheets and glaciers inland.
>>34613189
His point is that all that land that's currently frozen, shitty, and buried in ice is going to be ripe for the picking and a lot of it will be excellent farmland.
>>34612695
It doesn't matter because before it gets anywhere close to that point someone will figure out a way to pull CO2 out of the air cheaply. Already there's a group that is working on turning atmospheric CO2 into carbon nanotubes that can be used for a ton of shit, including bullet proof vests funny enough, and they've been fairly successful already.
So no, Antarctica isn't going to melt, the globalist/statists are going to need to find another BS Boogeyman issue to try and control your wallet and industry with, and all operating at the poles will still require a jacket.
>>34613307
>he thinks it's just CO2 that's the issue
kys
>>34613307
Thunderfood revealed that to be a scam

>newly exposed areas of the world
OP is a faggot for posting the wrong image
>>34613441
>tfw we'll never live during a glacial maximum when Florida was 3x as large and half of it is boreal forest
Why even live?
>>34613441
Op meant land under the ice dumbass
