There's a strong lack of English language resources for collectors of swiss army uniforms and equipment.

For all its looks, its a surprisingly handy weapon. The charging handle is very pleasant to use. The only sadness is the stiffness of the trigger, and lack of bho.
>>34612433
The coolest thing about the Swiss military is that everything seems to be blasted into deep caves and shelters in the mountains.
>>34612433
The EKW C-36 Attack aircraft, it was the primary CAS aircraft of the swiss air force during world war two
armament consisted of one 20mm nose cannon, two wing mounted 7.5mm's and a twin 7.5mm rear gun
interessting to note is that they stayed in service until 1988. this version was upgraded with a turbine engine and was used as tug for AAA-target sacks
>the EU will ruin these based laws
>>34613980
next up is the EKW N-20 Aiguillon (french for Sting)
it's development startet in the late 40s, sadly it was canceled over cost in 1953.
A smaller scale prototype named Arbalète (crossbow) was built and succesfully tested
but the full scale prototype couldn't take off due to the engines being tos weak, the stronger engines were denied due to cost .
The N-20 was also meant to carry nuclear weapons
>>34613990
>don't be memeber of the EU becasue you don't need them
>still get your gun laws fucked by them
The only reason why EU has any say in that matter becasue of dick sucking politicans who bow down to EU. if Swiss gov would tell EU to fuck off they would.
Only have this one pic from another thread, but it's a Panzer 68 hull being quenched/hardened I think.

now for the FFA P-16
this one actually flew, it did land in lake constance sometimes though.
The P-16 was designed for a similar role as the Hawker Hunter (which actually later got the air force contract). Being a Fighter bomber, it was also one of the first jets to use slats because it again it had to have excellent S/TOL capabilities.
After a crash (the test pilot succesfully ejected) the project was scrapped and Hawker Hunters were purchased
>>34614052
shit, i almost forgot
the P-16 lived on as the Learjet, which is based on the design
>>34613015
So just learn German, French, Italian and the occasional Romansh real quick.
>>34614062
now for the Dassault Milan
>But anon, Dassault is a french company!
yes, you are right. BUT the Milan was developed in cooperation with RUAG and all three prototypes were made from swiss Mirage IIIRS (the swiss Recon Mirage)
the Milan was an attack version of the Mirage III. with the most notable feature being the "moustaches" the two foldable canards.
the project also never went anywhere because the milan lost the evaluation of the swiss air force for the Hunter replacement very narrowly to the Vought A-7 Corsair, this lead to a heavy dispute between politicians (whom wanted the Milan, as switzerland was directly involved with RUAG) and the air force (who found the Corsair to be the superior aircraft)
in the end no replacement was chosen and with the retirement of the Hunter in 1994 the swiss air force lost its ground strike capability

and now for the most recent and last swiss fighter concept
the ALR Piranha.
It was meant to be a small Interceptor, not much is known about it
Do you want me to continue with Tracked vehicles and guns?
>>34614033
This is a pretty fascinating photo - got anymore of tank manufacturing like it?
>>34612433
I just bought a lower if this thread doesn't 404 before I get it I'll update thanks
>>34614153

>>34616342
As a EU-citizen, fuck the EU. They even want to make muskets hard to aquire/own.
>>34617006
NkPz(Neue Konstruktion Panzer - New Construction tank)
>>34613980
>interessting to note is that they stayed in service until 1988
Holy balls.
>>34617084
As I said, they were used to tow targets for the anti air batteries
>pic related
>>34617367
That is a sleek looking plane
>>34612433
Lemme show ya some history.
(the Ord. Revolver 1929 is technicaly the same era as the P06/29, its actualy even younger than the P06/29 shown here)

Maybe allow concealed carry of pistols like Czechia, and remove the "no detours" restriction for open carry.
I would go further and say full auto shouldn't have its special permit and only be subject to the WES but even America is pissy about them.
>>34617964
"Czechia" You mean the Czech Republic.
>>34612837
looks very like a FAL and a STG44 had a baby

>>34618668
Couldnt care less.
>>34618668
What retard would choose something as retardedly close to chechenia?
>>34618716
>Couldn't care less
>Could not care less
>meaning the amount you care is some
not even the person you're responding to, but don't correct others when you're wrong and learn how to speak English you brainlet.
>>34618745
Fine Czechoslovakia it is.
>>34618726
Because it makes sense. Look at the neighbours - Austria, Slovenia, Slovakia. See any pattern?
And hey, in Finnish it has always been Tshekki or Tsekki, so at least we don't have to deal with this awkward FYROM-esque shit
>>34618849
Why not just go back to Bohemia?
>>34618888
Too German. Let the Slavs be Slavs.
>>34618894
Anyways, Switzerland almost adopted a czechoslovakian handgun. From what ive found a predecessor of the Cz 75, but it was dropped at the last second due to the Soviet Union banning weapons exports. Only found it mentioned twice in two reports.
Late evening bump. Swiss weapons are so fancy, plus I want to know what >>34614228
Is going to do with that lower.
>>34618745
You fucking retard, he worded the phrase correctly. You're thinking of "could care less" which means you have room to care. Jesus Christ.
>>34613990
>k31
>100 francs
FUGGGGGG can a swiss bro send me one?
And now I'm just going to dump various aircraft projects from switzerland

This is what peak performance looks like.
>>34622234
Where did you find those plans?
>>34618888
Because that's only half of the country.
>>34618048
It's been an unofficial name for quite a while, and it's quite handy. I think Česko is the most popular in their own language too.
>>34614168
So a gripen?
>>34616586
Its not to late yet
>>34617874
Where do I get a 550?? I really fucking want one. America here. If I buy it from a Canadian store, can I get it imported? How does that work? I know you can import Euro guns through importers but what about Canada?
>>34623724
Espionage of course
>>34624536
Simple. It was given to me by the state.
>>34622120
>100
Lolno
That's the highest price you pay but you get them mostly for around 50-60 bucks
>>34624594
I said, where do I, i being a first person possessive pronoun. Because me want a 550. And I live in burger land.
