I think it would be cooler if he did these sorts of videos without the front hand guards. So we can see exactly how many rounds until you are in danger of killing the gun.

Swap the barrel and gas tube and scrap the plastic off your sight.
Literally a 30 minute job at most. It's not like you would have to junk the whole rifle like the AK because swapping the barrel is more trouble than it's worth.
