Mag catch doesn't retain the mags. Haven't bothered to fix.

Mags scalped by distributors shipping the gun with only one mag for $40+. Now they're on ebay for $120.

Not exactly pleased but fuck the bluing is as deep and as dark as it could be. It's super fucking aesthetic.

Glock 19

I got it for wholesale cost, it's been a fine gun but the trigger is dogshit and the ergos aren't optimal, I'd rather get a gun with a good trigger than dump another $100+ into it. gonna get rid of it in exchange for a better striker wonder9 like a P10c or a P320. Thinking about taking a leap on the new CZ, reviews are nothing but glowing and it will fit my glock holster.

>"Favored by Mexican Cartel Members"
Too bad they didn't know 5.7mm only penetrates vests and helmets when you use restricted SS190 ammo fired through a p90 barrel. Otherwise it's a glorified .22 mag. They could have bought a bunch of PMR 30s and had 10 more rounds in a magazine, and 1500 more dollars in their pocket for each pistol (I know it was released in 2011, not 2007 when the mexishit cartels bought them). It's not like they're shooting people who can defend themselves, so the jamming part is a negligible trait for them.

I bought an SKS back in 2013 as my first gun because of the innawoods maymay. I bought it over an AK in an impulse decision shortly before my state banned AK-47s. I regretted it because there is nothing an SKS does that an AK doesn't do just as well if not better.

I sold it the other week and recouped my money. Feels good to virtually undo something you regret.

I am replacing it with a VEPR (arbitrary AWB definitions give it an exempt status) that I will trick the fuck out in the coming months/year.

Why? I've looked at them and I don't see anything particularly desirable other than owning something different; also, the mags cost more. I got memed into the 19 I guess but I'm happy enough with it to keep it and it's what I carry. If I had a do-over I MIGHT get a 26 or something smaller because I ended up with a 34 later to fill the target gun niche. Now I have no easy CC gun just something that works okay enough.

Mmph, it will probably forever be in my top 3 favourite pistols category, and even in 50 year's time I would be happy to carry it, 7+1, cocked and locked. Yes I know 8 round mags are very common, I stick with 7, because I'm autismal like that.

Double-action trigger fucking sucked, the Fiocchi ammo I used with it was hitting minute-of-dinner plate at perhaps 5m (I've reached 50m with a pistol before, and also achieved 2.5" grouping at 10m with a pistol before), the double-action function didn't even work all the time on occasion only rotating the cylinder, and casings sometimes got caught in the chambers. Even broke an M1911 mag by using the toe of the baseplate to try and pry a casing out. Didn't even shoot the whole 50-round box of ammo I bought, sold the revolver, but I refuse to think the design is inherently that awful. I believe I ended up with a lemon. It still went towards providing me more first-hand experience with firearm designs, and for that I am grateful. Ultimately, it was probably my least favourite shooting experience, and I had the displeasure of shooting a Desert Eagle before. Fucking inaccurate jam-o-matic. Granted it was a rental firearm, likely over-used and under-cleaned, but I don't care, that clunky and expensive POS is over-rated as fuck.

It was only 350$. Parts brought it up to about 450-500. Kinda makes me hesitant to look forward to the CMP 1911s, just because i know they'll be loose beaten pairs of crap.

I don't have it but there is a picture from the same anon with 5 complete loadouts, medical kits, chest rigs and coms for his friends. It's pretty nice actually.
He essentially can hand them to a few friends and have a readied fire/assault team.

It's okay, but really wish I'd just spend a little more and got a decent 7.62x39 AK-pattern instead.

I bought a bersa thunder .380 after having two entire threads worth of anons claim it was at the very least a decent handgun. It never went a full mag without a jam, it broke twice in the first 200 rounds.
I sold it at a loss just to get it out of my sight.

On the other hand, I bought a Glock 22 because of a rap song (I don't even like rap but the song is awesome), and it's my favorite handgun I own.

The thing about the Bersas is you have to give them a VERY thorough cleaning out of the box. I had the same problems with mine until I cleaned it, and I was shocked at how much black gunk I pulled out of it. They come out of the factory slathered in cosmoline so they'll survive the journey to the US in a ship hull, and they won't fire right until you clean it all out.

Wow you're stupid. Did you miss the part where the other anon said "If it ever had a stock attached then from that point on its a rifle"? Did you buy the barreled receiver from the factory in Russia back before they stopped making new Mosins in the 1940s? No? Then at some point it had a stock attached to it. Whether it still had one when you bought it is irrelevant; it had one at some point, which means it's a rifle, which means that you just admitted on a public internet board to committing a federal firearms felony by creating an illegal SBR.
>Burden of proof lies with the state.
Sure it does. After smashed door, dead doggo, time in jail, and a few tens of thousands of dollars of legal fees for you.

Enjoy the slammer, Bubba.

Sorry to hear. Ultimately, I think the Colt Single Action Army is probably a superior revolver design. The double-action trigger pull is so horrendous on the M1895 that really the only way to properly shoot it is single action only anyways. If for some reason you just can't live without owning a revolver that can be properly silenced/suppressed, that's about the only reason I can think of to keep this revolver and enjoy it regularly. The speed at which you can reload it in Red Orchestra 2 is probably the most unrealistic aspect of the game.

>Greatest handgun ever made
No handgun has the right to that claim due to the insurmountable variables involved. For instance, concealed carry? Colt SAA is obviously not the greatest for that. Capacity? Nope. Quick reload? Compared to other fixed-cylinder designs, maybe, but compared to pistols with detachable magazines? Nope. How about simply carrying it safely with all 6 cylinders loaded? Many would argue that not even that can be properly done with a SAA. If you want to talk about a firearm being the greatest at something, you need to be very specific.

>No.4 Lee Enfield is the greatest infantry bolt-action rifle ever made standard-issue
This is my own personal belief, and I can make a decent claim for it. I've handled many bolt-actions but none have been smoother than the Lee bolt. 10-round standard capacity is huge compared to the vast majority (if not all) other standard-issue bolt-actions. The No.4 has beautiful long-radius aperture sights which improves precision aiming, and its quite thick floating barrel also vastly improves accuracy over the previous Mk.III*. Its clips are also pretty much just as quick as Mauser clips if you use them properly, rim-lock is essentially a non-issue since even 7.62x54r continues to be used in box mags today 126 years after it was designed (and has ALWAYS been used in box mags), and the storage compartment in the buttstock is very handy. What downfalls the design has, such as the relatively weak bolt design (which is still plenty sturdy for .303), are either non-issues or as of such insignificant issue that they're vastly overshadowed by the many benefits. But of course it must be stated that this belief does not mean other bolt-actions are bad. I've handled many, an enjoyed them all. Kar98k, M91/30, Mannlicher-Carcano, K31, M1917, and so on and so forth. M1917 is probably my 2nd favourite bolt action. All these designs are outstanding, but I just happen to find the No.4 to overall be better. To each their own.

Hell yes I'm happy with it. Put a steel guide rod with a 22lb spring in there while I shoot .40 short and weak for a more enjoyable shooting experience. And I have a 9mm conversion barrel for carry purposes and cheaper plinking as well.
