Hey /k/ I'm hoping you can help me, or at least give me some suggestions for where to go from here.
I'm looking to start shooting a new caliber, but I can't stand the idea of shooting the same stuff as everyone else. Here's a short list of the things I'm looking for in my final selection. Surely something will fit my conditions.

>wrists are too wimpy to shoot .45
>want something without the downsides of both but the performance of neither
>I'd prefer to pay a premium to buy this caliber in my favorite gun brands
>overpaying for ammunition would be ideal
>I'd like to be sure that my local gun shops will perpetually understock this caliber
>I definitely want to have to special order magazines
>I'm kind of a masochist, so the more I can be made fun of for my choices, the better.

You know, if it weren't for the fact that no one produces the shit anymore - causing it to be stupid expensive, 357sig isn't that bad of a round. I like how snappy it is.

Get a 5.7mm. It is a joy to shoot and ammo isn't really that about. About as much as .45 if ya shop around. It's extremely light has minimum recoil has ballistic similar to 5.56 and carries 20 rounds per mag.
