Need advice fags.

I already spent $1850 on a LMT MWS sharpshooter package as baby's first ar.

It's a beauty, but I need some recommendations for optics for it. The 1.5-6 elcan I was planning to use just doesn't feel right

>also, is it worth an 8 hour drive for the $1700 CQBPS16 in FDE?

I tried, can't post images, site is being gay. Tried troubleshooting for the last 20 minutes, no worky. Maybe I post tomorrow.

Good job making it to 400 posts though! I am impress!

Cheers. I really am starting to like the crosshair reticles. Anyone have any experience with them? Seems like they might be hard to pick up quickly, or the illumination would have quite a bit of bloom for such a precise crosshair.

Did you get the SPARC AR along with 10 PMAGs? Because if not you made a mistake.
Not a bad rifle though. Not great, but perfectly adequate for facilitating helicopter rides. More than anything I like your picture.

The rifle itself is under $600 is a CHF chrome lined FN barrel. What more could you ask for? Just needs a new trigger and a new charging handle. Good to go.

Different for what you're doing with them. The larger moa dots are easier to acquire quickly. People use them on race guns in handgun competitions.

Look up the cmore sight. The larger moa models are most often seen on race handguns, while the smaller moa sights are often on rifles.

I'm pretty sure that they just wanted the open carry protesters to stop using their stores as meeting points. Honestly the number photos of austists hanging out at starbucks with their tapco SKS or gun show special AR-15s was embarassing and probably hurting their business. I think they said they wanted to avoid the whole political thing but just wanted people to stop open carrying there and stop using it as a protest spot.

However, if I'm wrong, then I'll gladly cede my stance. But I don't hate Starbucks for that. I just think their coffee beans are too oily and over priced and the coffee brewed there always tastes burnt.

I feel like window shopping today. Think this'll go well with my rifle?

http://www.primaryarms.com/b5-systems-enhanced-sopmod-stock-mil-spec-coyote-brown-sop-203-01-coy

and this?

http://www.primaryarms.com/tango-down-short-quick-disconnect-vertical-grip-black-bgvqdkblk

Still in the air on a rail though, I like having an FSP too much to just get a tube.

I think both of those would be good calls. I really like my sopmod but I have no experience with the Bravo. I think it'd look good on your rifle though for sure.

I like the FSP too. If you really wanted a new rail you could always try to find a centurion with a middy cutout or even go with the Larue 9" rail if you wanted something free float. But I really like your build.

The Bravo is....ok. I got it because I didnt see the logic in having to remove the SOPMOD to gain access to the batteries. But after owning the Bravo the angle on the side for cheekweld isnt enough, not like on the SOPMOD. But it is a well built stock that unlike Magpul stocks doesnt pull your beard out one hair at a time and the QD swivel is tits.

Slower than expected. There's been a lot more rain this year so a lot of my effort has been in keeping the property from becoming a jungle. Trimming trees, bushes, mowing, etc. I'm having to mow every weekend lately and it's a workout the grass has been growing so much. Luckily I haven't been jumped by a gang of wasps when working on the shrubs.

Currently still on the office, the concrete has been scrubbed, washed, acid etched and the walls and doors are masked. It just needs stain and the seal coat. After that I want to replace the floor molding with something more fitting of that room. Something like this:

http://www.lumberliquidators.com/ll/c/%2527-White-MDF-Colonial-Baseboard-BBCL3M/10031001?Wt.cs_id=CSE_shopzilla&CA_6C15C=420003430000673901

Either way I'm ready to get all the books, paintings and other crap out of my gun room and get it finished.

the NXS is almost a go to choice. Solid, but not unique.

The mk6 3-18 is a pretty sweet, super compact, some decent reticle options. Your not going to want to pony up for the illuminated reticles, they arent worth it anyway.

cqbss is a little small in the FOV, but pretty sweet. Not all reticles are illuminated the same way

TD will be just fine. They're running their business as it is best for them, not you. They likely are developing or have already developed MLok products but they're not going to leak the details to anon. When it's profitable and makes sense to them, they'll come out with the MLok stuff and people who want TD products will buy them because /arg/ and the AR market has a short attentions span and moves on to the next meme product fairly quickly. Replace the MaTech and T1. I'm kind of torn between LMT L8A or Colt/FN carry handle for just shooting with irons.

But carry handle is aesthetic too.

Also colt waffle stock, N1, or LMT sopmod.

Then finally keep A2 grip, A1, or LMT ergogrip?

As a fellow dudeguy who has an a4gery in progress, but can't afford an ACOG yet, take my advice and just make do with a detatchable carry handle until then. Look around at gun shows and you may even find a dinged up one with that shitty purplish anodizing for extra authenticity or maybe a MATECH buis. Either option is more correct than your current MBUS. Speaking of authenticity, if you can't stand an a2 grip, at least use a Tango Down Battlegrip which has an NSN and can be seen in the wild on issued guns, and ditch the enhanced trigger guard. Next step is removing some of your rail covers. I was reluctant to do so when I first got my m5, too, but it looks so much better with about half removed, and nobody keep them all on in the field. Finally, I feel embarrassed for you for not only having a pirate meme lower, but also for basing your (unnecessary) trip on such a cringey, boomer arfcommer product- and that's coming from a guy with an uggo Anderson rollmark.
Love,
Anon
