Do you think the retarded micro stamping law will be repealed?

This is a blue board which means that it's for everybody (Safe For Work content only). If you see any adult content, please report it.

Do you think the retarded micro stamping law will be repealed? I am legit concerned for the future of guns in Cali, I can't move away because of work yet every fucking gun I want isn't on the roster because of that shitty fucking law and I am so mad.

I'm from a fun friendly state. What the hell is micro stamping? Sounds like LSD.

I doubt it will be repealed, it's California.

The idea of microstamping is that there is a micro-embossed ID number on the firing pin or chamber that will stamp an ID on the brass and therefore help LEOs track the gun and gun owner. However, considering you can get rid of it with one swipe of a file, I think it's real purpose is to prevent guns from being sold in California, since some gun manufacturers won't want the hassle, and to increase the cost of gun to prevent people from buying them, particularly poor people.

>Take brass from person you want to frame after it's been fired from their gun
>Reload it
>Shoot someone/something (You don't even have to kill anyone, just a missed shot at a government official or something)
>The fuzz find the brass marked from their gun
>They get in shit for it

wew.

Although firing it again might fuck up the previous "stamping" so whatever. As anon pointed out this accomplishes nothing since I'd guess 75% of guns used in crimes in cali aren't legal anyways.

I never though of that. Seems like a worthy experiment to see if the stamping survives however many psi of being fired again. I guess another way would be to just police your brass and drop someone else's.

>Sweep up random stamped casings from the range
>Sprinkle them on kiddy playgrounds, public transport, outside politicians homes..

Top mischief

File it off

I highly doubt but I'm hopeful with all the AWB talk.

the micro stamping is completely BS and the media even report on how BS it was. literally the micro stamp doesn't even hold up after one shot all you got to do is take a file and just do a light scrape on the firing pin and its gone.

California has a registry though, and even without it a non-compliant gun produced after the rule is clearly not a pre-ban.
Obviously you can get damn near whatever you want if you're willing to risk a felony, but that's retarded.

Wait, this nonsense actually became law? Just go get guns out of state, doubt your supreme communist overlor- I mean nice friendly democratic politicians will realize that no matter how much they double down on their policies it won't have the outcome they expected
