Why don't you own nothing but Beretta weapons?

They've had nearly five hundred years in gun-making experience. They were the ones to invent breach-loading cannons, for fuck's sake.

If you can't trust a manufacturer with that reputation, then what one can you trust?
>>
Yeah that's why I don't own any digital cameras none of the companies have been around for 500 years.

Not even one camera company today ever manufactured a daguerrotupe or used nitrocellulose film. And without that experience how can I trust them with modern technology?
>>
>>34526721
Because every time I squeeze the trigger it goes "wop" and sprays marinara sauce on my targets.
I'll stick with muh Murican made burger cannons.

The fuck? Breechloading cannon were around for more than 100 years before Beretta existed. Where the fuck did that claim come from?

I admit I haven't given their rifles a very serious look, but their handguns don't tend to really stand out in their market niches.

>double stack pistol
The PX4 is cool and the compact/subcompact are nice CCW's, but the slide-mounted controls are poison in the American market.

The APX will probably do much better than the PX4 because it has a "Glock-like" manual of arms.

The 92fs is just a big ass gun for being 9mm. It's hard for people to find a use for a gun that large in today's market.

>micro CCW
Even setting aside the bad press the Pico has gotten, people just don't get excited for a gun with a slide that tall and a grip that short, especially when the LCP costs quite a bit less and is a reliable pistol.

Then you've got the Nano, which lacks a slide release lever, which is poison in the American market, where consumers believe in universality of controls.

The Bobcat, Tomcat and other little mouse guns are nice pistols, but hard to find and trend on the expensive side. The Tomcat is also a little fat, given that it's supposed to be a .32 caliber pocket pistol.

>pistol caliber carbine
The CX4 Carbine strikes me as a really well designed gun, but the price of $650-700 seems a little high for something that would basically just be a range toy only for a lot of people.

I'm thinking the next handgun I get is going to be one. I finally want a hammer fired and ever since I was a kid and I saw pic related I've wanted to someday get one. Also Die Hard has played a role in this.

The only manufacturer I trust is one who is driven by passion, not profit.
That being said, Beretta Holdings is one of the two firearms megaconglomerates I like to see buy out smaller companies, the other being Herstal Holdings. Really not that much of a compliment since their competition is Chinese brand grabbers who drive treasured names into the ground.

You're right, the 92 is much smaller and lighter than a glock.

Yes, because that's all that matters in a CCW. There's no advantages whatsoever to increased weight, barrel length, sight radius, or a non-tilting design.

Their pistol line-up is rivaled by better offerings and their o/u shotguns are too expensive. I thought about buying their autoloader for 3 gun, but the Benelli M2 has a better aftermarket and shoots smoother.

The PX4 is honestly a better shooter than the 92FS. The 92 isn't bad, but the PX4 was designed with more modern materials and design in mind. I can shoot more accurately with it and the rotating barrel does reduce recoil, even in something as mild as 9x19.
my 92 exists to look pretty, mostly. It's good, but it shows its age.
>>
I wish Beretta would produce:

1. 45 acp version of the 92fs
2. A Beretta branded revolver. Preferably something more sleek in blued and polished steel/nickel finishes.
3. An alloy framed pistol carbine that isn't a boat like the Cx4 turned out to be.
>>
>>34533434
I thought beretta did make branded revolvers?

I own a good amount of beretta products for being 24 y/o

>92fs
>m9
>m9a3
>APX -2x (just ordered a second to put a rds mount on and put in my plate carrier)

Over all extremely reliable pistols I love my m9 and my m9a3. Granted that they are bulky like a full sized sig pistol but they do their job and as I said extremely reliable. I have only had a few FTF and it was with my 92fs with some Tula steel case (I got a bad batch about 2-3 rounds every other box 200 round bulk order) that the primer blew out. Replaced only a one barrel due to squib but was able to get a local gun smith to save the barrel of my 92fs.

Saving up for the ARX carbine as I'm realizing I am no AR fan. And I realize I'm not a fan to gas to my face with rifles so I am hopeful.
>>
>>34533427
Skipped the Px4 series not to be a snob but I didn't feel it for me. However just realizing they have 45 acp models may be put on the radar

My M9 was all fucked up asymmetrical sloppy machining like I've never seen, EVERYONE on Beretta forum was like "oh shit wtf send it back"...sent to Beretta and they said "That is normal for M9 as opposed to 92fs" basically fuck you keep this defect.
>>
>>34533742

Anyone have a 92FS that won't rack with a new barrel? Changed the locking blocks out, but it still won't rack. Feels like it's getting stuck on the locking block even when that same locking block works fine on the old barrel. The new locking block works fine on the old barrel.
Is it possible it's the plunger?

Generally, 500 years of manufacturing knowledge does lend to quality. But some managers want things so cheap, they are willing to pressure engineers into making crap sometimes.
Finding out that the Tomcat .32 has a cracked frame problem. They goofed. They honored the warranty for only 3 years. After that, it's yours to fix. I bought mine 4 years old second hand at a legit gun shop not knowing about this issue.
Fortunately, the crack problem hasn't arrived, yet. I will be super pissed if I have to weld and machine the frame.
>>
I've owned a couple baby Berettas. With it's tip-up barrel the Bobcat is great for use with Aguila Colibri ammo.
