I have owned the following CZ products:

The p-10 absolutely would not drop the mag with a loaded magazine installed and slide closed (maximum pressure). I fixed this by taking a jewelers file to the magazine BUT it is the number 1 complaint with the gun. I experienced it, it's true. I believe the problem is sharp angles or burrs on the magazine cut out itself.
The p-10 also does not fit in many hard (kydex) holsters. Hickok45 posted a video on it.
The backstrap of the p-10 is also too rounded for my liking. Again, like most "experienced" shooters, I prefer a flatter back strap.
The slide stop is really hard to depress (if you're the type that use it) because unlike most, it stops the slide form the middle underneath farther back creating a mechanical disadvantage.
Those are my complaints. The p-10 is not at all refined or polished but has a lot of potential. The only good thing I have to say about the gun is the trigger reset is really great.

I sold my p-10 and bought another Glock 19.

In conclusion OP, this guys review a bunch of apologetic bs that doesn't address the known issues with the gun.

My P-10 shit itself 100 rounds in. The slide stop spring popped out and wouldn't stay put, even after being replaced. Called CZ, sent it in, and now am waiting on a replacement since apparently the entire gun is defective. Looked it up and found a bunch of posts of people with the same issues, plus more. CZ reps said they were really busy in the warranty department, I can only presume from P-10 C returns.

Mine also had the mag release death-grip, but it DID release on a full mag, slide closed, with enough pressure. Just took a shitload of force and "snapped' on release. Didn't seem healthy at all.

Larry Snickers is a dishonest tub of shit shill with an inflated sense of self importance, and I don't know why he doesn't like the P-10 C (never watched the video), but it's probably justified.

The P-10C I fired did indeed need a death grip to release a full mag on a closed slide, but it was doable. The owner removed the mag release and polished it and that helped, but it's still really stiff.

I think the difference in his and Snickers' experience if quality control. It seems to be pretty poor on the P-10 C so far, and the mag release I tried that was stiff was apparently only so because it was molded poorly and had a lot of burrs and rough edges.

Also it doesn't fit into a lot of G19 holsters. I think the guy in that video was being dishonest, saying there's only one it doesn't fit in, unless he just coincidentally only has the holsters that fit the P-10 well. The P-10 C is longer and thicker than a G19, so it won't fit in many form-fitting holsters.

I tried all my personal holsters: a light-bearing ALS (for a TLR-1), standard ALS Concealment holster, Comp-Tac Flatline, and Phlster Skeleton Gen 2. It only fits in the Skeleton. Doesn't come close to fitting in anything else. Not sure what light-bearing ALS he has, but it must be different than mine if it fits.

Agreed on the sights though. Who cares? Aluminum is better than polymer, so it's still a leg up over Glocks.

For what its worth, Dalton Fury/Tom Greer said he though Air Force combat controllers were the most well rounded operators and Delta was happy to have them at Tora Bora. And from reading Relentless Strike, it seems they really are some of the "First In" people on any major mission.

I don't know if that is what Garand is. But it was really neat learn about the combat controllers.

I just got a Glock 19 MOS, your review has been very contentious with the mounting hardware backing out. I'm curious if I'll see the same issue. How much of that testing was with the pistol suppressed? I'll be running mine almost completely suppressed with a 15# recoil spring, and I've got 2k of sub sonic hand loads queued up to put through it.

Were you using NATO spec 124 gr 9mm in your testing?

I'm not a CZ fan at all but SIG, HK, Ruger etc all have issues in the first year of a new model that can be attributed to working out the kinks in production. As long as it isn't a recall wrap sheet like the R51 it'll be fine or the manufacturer will fix/replace it. I mean, for real, keltec has gotten their act together and is putting out decent weapons now.

I always laugh when someone like Mac buys a new model for a torture test and then fanboys spout the results for months. Even the VP9 has sorted itself now. People, especially on forums, have a detrimental PII. Almost everything will get the job done. Don't worry so much.

I was in ROTC at the time and was planning to commission when I graduated.

Guys he's in the 336th training group up in Washington at Fairchild afb. He helps teach Air Force pilots and afsoc people a very basic sere course. I'm unsure why the airforce sends its cct's and pj's through the Washington course and not the one at Bragg. Not to insult anyone's intelligence but firearms and shooting play almost no role at those type of courses.

If he wasn't writing for official SOF blogs, and having correspondences with other military friends who clearly know he is a Pararescue. Which is the kind of unit that isn't super tier 1 black ops classified, but does have to worry about having their image improperly used toward marketing (because I haven't seen a single gear company brag about weathermen using their gear).

And besides, his entire background of medicine and teaching survival skills for extraction kind of makes sense for a pararescue pipeline candidate, plus his previous history he's mentioned.

He's also geared up similar to other air force operators.

No disrespect to the dude, being a PJ is a badass job and I do mean that fully - but can you imagine being specops and nothing more than a dude who sits all the way in the back and is there just to listen?
