it's bullshit. 77gr 5.56 is very effective out of SBRs, and 5.45 is pretty bad as it doesn't have the heavier grain options 5.56 has.

Out of a short barrel at least. I'd stick with 10.3" or longer for AR barrels unless you're substituting .300 memeout for 7.62x39 because you can't afford another caliber and mags.

5.45, particularly 7N6 and Golden tiger BOTH timble out of a 8.5 inch barrel; 5.56 does not.
