Every 2-4 weeks I'll put 50 rounds through it. I'm lucky enough to live about 15 minutes away from a free, public, state run shooting range. Just depends on my mood really. Picked it up for $750 pre-sandy hook and the reproduction was another $100 shipped from the UK of all places.

Its an all matching 1920 commercial in 7.65 luger. Takes the same mags as the 9mm which is nice so I picked up two repro mags and a mag holster as well.

I do. Unfortunately I got it because my dad died when I was 22 but he had a $1 million life insurance policy. My mom and I split what was left after we paid for my college 60/40. She got over $500k, I got over $300k. My mom and I get along great though and we visit all the time. Still wish I had him around though.

I still have a hard time imagining you got even that janky looking full auto for less than $20,000. You can drop that much cash on a luxury item but evidently are on a limited budget until you finish vet school. Hmm.

It's kind of a waste to shoot in semi auto anyways, with enough rounds the receiver will crack, and once it's got to that point your $20k AK is basically trash. It can legally be restored but not replaced. Which means you could have it welded back together, but it'll still be weaker than it originally was and probably crack again much sooner.

I'm guessing it's an illegal full auto anyways.

Some people make things a priority. I wanted to get a legal one while I had the means to do so and budgeted a large amount of money for that. Everything after the initial purchase has been done under the assumption I'll make more money later. Sort of like panic buying a bunch of AR-15 lowers. May not be able to afford uppers for all of them now but at least you have them sort of a thing.

From what the guy that I bought and had it transferred to me from said it was a hastily done conversion shortly before the ban went into effect. Hence the shoddy drilling. Still works fine and the ATF knows who I am and where I live so if they get upset seeing it on 4chan they can come check me out or if other law enforcement does I'll happily show them the paperwork. But I won't show you anon.
