You can't go wrong with a glock but there are even cheaper options. Look up SCCY, Bersa, and Canik. Or look into milsurp 9mm pistols. Best of luck anon.

He wants a range gun, not a "people want to kill me but I only have $250" gun.

Yep, the Glock 17 is a good starting point if you're just looking for a recreational piece. No over the top safeties or indicators slapped all over it (besides the bullet one on the side). Also they're fairly easy to take apart and clean

>no over the top safeties or indicators
Red is Dead isnt exactly a complicated phrase to memorize anon, I wouldnt count out guns with safeties. Plenty of excellent range options out there, from Beretta 92s to Glocks to Walther PPQs.
Revolver, gp100 or sp101
glocks are tasteless op dont fall for the meme
>>34454673
Then why recommend a glock which is probably an even shittier range gun than a 250 dollar one that uses a hammer.
Glocks are overpriced as fuck.

>Beretta 92s
>>34454637
>SCCY, Bersa, and Canik
All worse than hipoints.
>>34454582
Glocks are not cheap, thats some u4ban legend everyone believes. They are 550$ for a basic glock 17 or 19
If you want something good in the sub 500 range, look at ruger american, cz p10c, canik, and arex.
Walther PPQ. There is a $100 Walther rebate going on now til September

This.
If it wasn't for the sweet blue label program I'd never touch a Glock. So many companies offer more for either less or around the same price.
>>34454582
Glocks are overpriced, once saw one new going for $750. They're not entirely special, either, they just function. Just don't use retardedly powerful hand loads or whatever and it won't activate its' grenade function
>>34455051
There's a reason there's a rebate. Nobody wants one.
Springfield XD, I have one in 40 cal. Got it with the extra mags and holster combo promo is still good until august 1st.
Been shooting it since and love it. Paid $500 after CA tax and DROS
>>34454582
Try A styre m9a1. better than a glock in every way except the aftermarket.
Also weird sights.
I'm gonna buy one soon, it's a fun 9mm full size gun.

>Glocks are tasteless
>Recommends ruger

If you're in the market for a glock, check into some of the ones they will be making this summer that are a little more rare. Like the RTF2 17 or 19. I am getting the 17C and 19C. The glock is worth the money vs a hi-point or something like that.

Was it a 34 or a 40? 17's and 19's can be had second hand for 400-500 all day. At least around here.
I mean, since they came out with the 43, people are GIVING away their 42's. I have seen them sell for less than this.
