Fun fact: Almost no members of SOF or traditional combat arms has PTSD. They instead of Traumatic Brain Injury from being near air burst from artillery, etc. This gets confused as PTSD because military healthcare is cheap for a reason.

Anyone notice that they're the first ones to scream stolen valor, and to publicly call people out for wearing anything military related? My fiance was wearing an army dress ha cket she got at the thrift store that had a private symbol on one shoulder, and an intelligence patch on the other. Fat little guy waddled up all sweaty, told her she needed to take the jacket off now because she was being disrespectful to him for wearing HIS patch, and then just stood there in a huff with his fat (but cute) therapy dog. Fiancé told him no, then asked what he did in intelligence. Long story short, he tried to make "making power points and info slides for classes" sound badass with a clearly rehearsed speech about his "technical abilities helping people stay alive by giving them the information they needed to live through combat" in the class room. Fiancé just laughed and walked away while he waddled towards the student union. Later heard from a veteran friend that everyone hates him, and they try to actively avoid him while at the veterans lounge.
