They are insane penetrators. Suck for self defense due to massive over penetration. But for bears or big animals they're perfect

FBI gel tests are stupid. Real bodies are not like gel. Instead of trying to compensate for an inadequate cartridge with a gimmick bullet, why not get a good cartridge and some good bullets?

Why don't you read about how the gel was developed and replicate before saying stupid shit?

It's not supposed to. It's supposed to give a general idea of the expansion and penetration of a particular round. If it goes through 35" of gel it'll probably go through that within ~2-5" if I'm shooting solid human meat with a ribcage.
