The armed forces has many competent fit women who believe that women are unfit for combat duty. Now that's terrible. People go to college because they don't know things. If you make college (more) political (than it already is) then the materials will be influenced by power. Be that the left or the rights influence.

What should be required is a basic rhetoric and socioeconomic course at university level. That's very rigid in what it teaches. It doesn't reach in terms of these general ideologies like communism and liberalism. It should teach the modes of thinking people have concerning all of this stuff. It should be for the political parties to educate/mislead you on their ideology.
If you couldn't take yourself through that then what's the point in you voting? You clearly wouldn't do your job as a voter and learn about current politics. You probably don't even represent yourself well, realistically.
