That's the thing, the original predators weren't about "muh honor," they were hunting humans purely for fun and didn't have absolutely any doubt in their mind that the humans would do shit against them.

Arnold or the black guy actually hurting them is basically like some dude out hunting deers suddenly getting attacked by a deer wearing camo and hiding in the trees with a bowie knife clutched in its teeth

It has nothing to do with it being sore losers. They're simply taking care of any evidence of their existence, as well as destroying any tech they left behind. Specially seeing as they frequent earth so much, it'd suck to land one day and have some human blast you away with your own tech.

Also the predator is not a sore loser. Look at their culture, it's pretty much a honor to die in combat, when the predator was laying there and Arnold stands above him with that giant ass rock, ready to bash his fucking skull in, Arnold changed his mind. Now to the predator, you're just taking away an honorable death, just allowing him to lay there and bleed out slowly, so of course he'd blow himself up. He also could of set the timer to be much shorter, instead sets it for enough time to allow Arnold to gtfo.

In the end, the predator is just doing what our military does, that's destroying any thing the enemy could get their hands on, including their own body.

The first predator didn't have any motives and that was pretty good for it. It was just like, well this is happening. The second one it was kind of a surprise they were not complete assholes at the end it really opened the whole thing up that they'd had that one specific ship full of those guys doing this for a long time it's not like they come back and leave and stuff, they'd been hiding out and stalking people as if it were a game for a very long time, while that was like a very small ship/crew it just implies there could be more of them and they've been doing this for a long time to the point it's just a sport to hunt humans and go after the most dangerous ones since they're the dominant creatures on the planet. It's funny because it really ignores a lot of social commentary the aliens are just interested in going after people they could brag about killing.
