I have the Peltor Range Guards, they have a 21 DB noise reduction rating. They are the ones pictured, they have a low profile. I normally double up with foam earplugs when I run my rifle, works great and I can hear normally with them on with or without extra earplugs.

You can buy them for about $40 right now at home depot's website, I bought mine for $60. They also have a plug that you can use to plug into your phone

Which peltors do you have? I'm thinking Bout buying a set and I'm trying to decide if the sport tactical 300 are worth shelling out over 100 fun bucks for.

Also how good is amplification ? I could see these things being very useful hunting and creeping.
