As far as winter jacket, it depends on there you live. In florida it would work fine and still be a bit on the light side. If youre talking anywhere north of Savannah, Ga. Then you better look for another jacket. I wouldnt wear it in tempuratures lower than 40° F.
iirc, these are summer jackets. I wear mine all the time and still talk to people just fine. Just dont act spergy.

I bought a bunch of milsurp for some reason this past winter, and with the exception of some thermal underclothing I've never worn it outside or even used it for anything other than pretending to clear my apartment.

I could have just bought one set for that and spent the rest of the money on ammo.

The only thing I don't regret buying were the 5 or 6 czech surplus parkas I bought since I throw a few in the trunk of my car for emergencies because they were $20 each.
