My Pomeranian, Josephine is a fucking doll. She's extremely quiet, barks when she needs something, is playing, or sees a threat. She's extremely low maintenance compared to larger dogs and makes it easier for her to live within the city. She's cat-sized with dog mannerisms and it's fantastic.

I've got two Chi-shit-eagles (Chihuahua-Shitzu-beagle mixes) that we raised from when they were only 6 weeks old. They aren't yappy little shits (Though Hetzer, so named because she like to ambush her sister and the cat by launching a ball at them from the bushes, will alert to anybody coming into our yard), but have taken to digging into chipmunk and vole burrows to try and get them, as well as going after anything rabbit-sized or smaller.

The beagle part also kicks in because if they get out of the fenced yard and they catch a scent....there's no stopping them.

No battle buddy is too small or useless. Bubblegum's cuteness factor will probably serve you well. Teach her to fetch things, and carry a little doggy pack with a spare box of ammo.

If you don't have a concealed permit, just pack a Glock 30 in her doggy pack and walk her around wherever you go. It isn't "on your person," is it?

This is the most well behave small dog I've been around. The only time she barks is when there's a nigger on tv. Though when she cuddles with you she has a habit of licking your nose.

My mother had tons of animals, at one point we had 4 dogs, 5 birds, three were exotic, three miniature horses and four cats.

The one exotic bird, a male eclectus, would give out an ear piercing screech in early sun up, then do random bursts of screeches throughout the day, there was no sleeping in.

I used to volunteer at an animal shelter and at one point worked the front desk. One day a coworker complained directly to the manager that I smelled like cat piss, not even telling me personally but embarrass me up to the facility's manager.
It was then I realized my sister's male cat had pissed all over my clean clothes basket that I had mistakenly left out instead of putting away.
I didn't notice the smell as I had come accustomed to strong pet odors inside the house, which was the other disturbing thing.

I am very self conscious about my body odor and finding out I smelled like something as gross as cat piss and didn't notice freaked me out. I quit the front desk position and went back to just walking dogs, then put all my clothes through multiple cycles of vinegar and then regular detergent.
The cat had also pissed on my shoes so I tossed them.
I have since moved to an apartment and I can tell whenever someone on my floor empties their litter box.
