10/22 General
Just bought a 10/22 so let me know everything I need to buy.
>>34406961
how much did you pay for it?
>>34406961
bullets
>>34406981
Blah blah blah. What ever he paid for it is too much cause I spent $xxx in the year before. Stfu
>>34406961
Ever considered getting .22mag?
>>34406961
I dislike the front sights quite a bit. Difficult to hit things close I feel
>>34406996
Ruger costs close to 500$ in Europe so whatever he paid in USA is a steal
Get Tech Sights if you aren't gonna use an optic. The stock iron sights suck ass.
This is a good place to ask but:
If you could only own 1 firearm would you get a .22lr or a .22wmr?
>>34406996
or just curios how much they are going for right now.
>>34407006
Literally bought one for 10 cents in norway.
Well it was a package deal with a vortex scope and silencer for 200$
But when i pick it up, they have to punch in 10 cents in the registry for it to be registered in the system
>>34407053
What the fuck? I cannot find it under 440 Euros in my country.
Screw you Breivik
Check out the M1 carbine stock set if that's your thing. The current ones from EABCO have the front sling mounted on the band, but the "birch" wood is still soft shit.
>>34407013
.22lr for ammo availability
>>34407000
Tech sights muh nigga
>>34406981
My lgs had them for 20$ when you bought a ruger ar556 for $556. Still upset I was away for that deal
>>34406961
>>34407012
Yeah the stock sights are really bad. Tech sights are fine. I've heard good things about the william's peep sights too. It'll set you back 50-75 bucks but it's worth it. Then your money should be spent on trigger time.
If you really want to buy something else, buy some training.
>>34407093
? But there is no shortage of any ammo in my country?
>>34407012
Agreed, and a sling is always good.
>>34406996
That's the same as "hey I just bought a new gun!! Um... pic related I found on google is what it looks like"
>>34406961
$10-20 carry bag for hauling it around
A sling of some sort, and swivels
Auto bolt release mod
Mags, I stick to Ruger brand ones
Gonna add another vote for Tech Sights, or if you'd rather go with an optic either a Bushnell TRS-25 or Primary Arms Micro Dot.
Gemtech integrated barrel suppressor
They're fun
Feed them CCI minimags
I need some good ammo for mine
Kidd trigger kit is nice
>>34408617
my barrel is kidd, but I have a volquartsen sear and hammer
>>34406981
Not OP but I just got one for $249. Commiefornia mark-up I guess. I have a good job so I'm ok with it
>>34407053
>Well it was a package deal with a vortex scope and silencer for 200$
With a 10 cent gun to boot?
..... BRB looking up how to emigrate to Norway....actually I have been considering Finland anyway for the forestry opportunities there.
Hogue stock is nice. I also threw an extra ACOG I had laying around on there too.
>>34406961
TFW I got one several years ago as a first gun only to find out I prefer bolt actions.
Upgraded my basic bitch carbine now that I've had it for a year
Tried to BLACK it on a budget, Shaw bull barrel, houge stock, and better extractor and bolt release.
10/22s seem to be unreliable as shit, even for rimfire semi automatic rifles.
What is the best alternative?
>>34411035
Try these first.
>>34411157
I'm not interested in polishing a turd.
>>34411035
>seems to be unreliable as shit
my 10/22 works just fine, but marlin model 60s are your best bet.
>>34406961
Everything pictured under $200. A little over if you count the fact I had to buy a drillbit to put the hole for the bipod in
