I remember my first WASR was $330 out the door at an Austin gun show. Second one was $450. Still have the first, sold the second for $1200 in 2012.

Would a used WASR be worth picking up as a first AK for under $500 if it has an underfolding stock? It looks really uncomfortable.

I would just for the fact that it's an uf wasr, not nearly as many were imported like the fixed stock versions. But then that's just me, I have a fixed stock and wire folder wasrs and an uf would be a nice addition
