This is what a backpack's peak performance looks like.

you cannot argue that there is something better than an assault pack.

Oh but I can, and I will. I had the USMC assault pack that goes with ILBE pack. It's not the worst, but far from pinnacle performance.

The zippers are shit and give out and plastic clips break. I jumped over a small Creek once during Bridgeport and one of my shoulder clips broke, swinging the weight of my pack and damn near faceplanting.

>all assault packs are the same

If they are "milspec" they're gonna have the same issues. Zipper and plastic shitty clips that break.

i have this bagpack and it has a few fatal flaws.
-there is no possibility for air circulation between your back and the bagpack

-the back of the pack is not stiff enough so, when loaded heavily, the pack deforms in unergonomic ways making outdoor sports or even running with this pack pretty unpleasant

-the inner insulating rubber coating is of very poor quality. it started flaking of the fabric within a few months of heavy use. since then i spayed the surface in a few layers of cheap silicon spray which holds up for years undamaged.

-the fabric is too thin to withstand rip and tear action and will lose its integrity over the time of 3-5 years. it is therefore also prone to quick ageing.

i was satisfied but would opt for a similar but better bagpack next time.

If I could pick any bacpack for innawoods shit I would just grab a good fjallraven one in some kind of olive green color instead of their usual pool blue or whatever the fuck they do.

They are way better than these bags and usually cost less than trying to buy milspec "ass salt" packs.

God dammit OP, stop dragging others into your autistic faggotry. I have one of these, they're like 40 dollars (Coleman Surpus).

It's good for a boring fucking bag that you can carry your shitty college books, a laptop, and maybe some gym clothes. That's it.

>>34371508
Where did you get your bag from? Mine has none of those problems. Only thing wrong with it is the main pocket has a pouch that's ripped from constant use and abuse.
>>
>>34371685
>>34373604
I got the Mil-Tec that fag OP is parading. What's so special about the Osprey to make the upgrade? Not trying to challenge, just curious.
>>
>>34370482
That's not mystery ranch or eberlestock.
>>
I use a 5.11 Rush 12. Rather small, but good quality for an all-around school/hiking bag.
