Google isn't helping me on this specific issue so can anyone tell me is it legal to shoot on public lands in Arkansas especially around Fayetteville.

That doesn't exactly show any regulations and laws regarding shooting on public lands in ARKANSAS and I'm already having a hard time trying to convince my mother that you won't get charged with federal crimes and go to prison for shooting on public land but she sees everything as black abd white and tells me that you can only shoot in firing ranges but nowhere else in Arkansas or you get in trouble with the police.
