What does /k/ think about Turkey's TFX fighter?
Also, combat aviation thread.
Luft46 and Convair wank planes welcome.

at least the iranians can build wooden mock ups of shit that will never fly

Those winglets are ugly as fuck
>>34368596
what do you expect? The thing was designed by peope that understand little more about aerodynamics than the guys creating the modesl for ace combat

Look I don't think you understand. It's kinda like the principle of the more bumper stickers you have on your car the faster it goes. You make it look cool and unique enough and you don't have to worry about aerodynamics, lift, drag, and jet propulsion theory.

unsurprisingly, sand people aircraft are designed so that you sit on top of the plane rather than in it - so as to simulate riding a camel

Even more genious is using parts bought of Ebay - this way we can bypass the nonexistant logistical organisation of our airforce and get superior parts in a timely manner!

No, mate. It's like a flying carpet.

Is it good at defending Isis ? What's its effectiveness at shooting down ground attack aircraft that are hurting Daesh ?
With Rolls-Royce engines and BAE doing the technical work on it for the turks, I expect it might well turn out halfway decent.
At least compared to the Iranian effort, it should fly.

but don't roaches already have wings?
Turkeys dont fly!

First two configurations are pretty cute, would wife.
Since Turkey can license-produce the f135 engine from the f35, I assume this is a two-engine version of that.
Thats 56,000-86,000 lbs of thrust.
