How much regrets will i have if i buy pic related?
I have only owned one other lelkek product, the ksg, and it isn't too bad of a gun. I looked around a bit and it looks like its a mix between a shit load of problems with the gas and running like a dream.
Should i pull the trigger and just dump 1500 on one?
>>
>>34362174
I think I've seen them as low as 1250 online. I'm looking into it as well all reports I can find say build quality is close enough to milspec.
>>
You can get them for ~1200 all day long my dude.

>great trigger
>reliable, infinite gas settings if it somehow isn't
>keltec will fix any issue with it
>fully ambi
>literally the only .308 bullpup of any repute
>as compact as legally allowable without going NFA

Only real issue with them is they're 2-3MOA guns. Understand that and you'll be happy.
>>
>>34362206
Oh also they're heavy. Like 11lbs loaded or something I don't remember exactly. Add for optic.
>>
>>34362206
well it is basically a bullpup FAL.
>>
>>34362283
Sure, in the same way a SCAR is just a plastic FAL.
>>
>>34362340
no. a SCAR is an AR18.

RFB and the FAL are tilting bolt rifles.
>>
>>34362174
>no irons

>one time I was walking to the park by my house and this dude stopped his car right in the middle of the road and opened his door and said I was a faggot so I told him he better come over here and say it to my face and he said "yeah I bet you'd like me to walk over there and give you a big kiss you faggot!" and then this girl I liked at the coffee shop across the street named Jessica who is really pretty laughed and I heard it and then the guy said "well I better get back to my job at kel-tec!" and then drove off and I started crying and my pants fell down because I tripped later that day and someone else laughed at me but I don't know who it was
>>
>>34362174

got mine for 1300. it actually works really well, i am pleasantly surprised.

>>34363085
>proprietary mags

dumbass, it uses FAL mags
>>
>>34363301
No problems with the bolt cycling? Mac the shill made a video where his gun could've even cycle hot loads unless the port was fully open
>>
>>34363484

no problems, i have the gas relief port set at 28 clicks from fully closed for surplus ball

None, buy it they're great.
>>

More like 8.5 lbs. Heavier than they look but nowhere near 11lbs.

If I could only get one atm, would you recommend the rdb or the rfb

I consistently get 1.5 MOA using PMC.

Customer service is also great. I managed to shoot out my barrel and I just shipped it back to the factory and got rebarreled free of charge.

I love the little bastard.
>>
>>34364879
>I managed to shoot out my barrel
how did you do that?
>>
>>34364897
I shoot every weekend, pretty regularly compete, and occasionally go to full retard training courses. I actually kept shooting it about 3 months after the accuracy started to degrade because I didn't want to let go. By the time I bit the bullet, it was like 4-5 MOA off the bench.
>>
>>34364944
They make it in full auto? Are you some kinda cop?
>>
>>34364962
I apologize, I was unclear. By full retard training I meant wearing full kit. They don't make a select fire version.

That settles it then.

I don't buy guns from bullies.
>>
>>34362174
Had one for a year. I love it.
Pros:
Reliable as hell. Literally 0 problems after several thousands of rounds. No failure to feed, no double feeds.
.308 is a hell of a round.
Accurate as hell
She gets attention at the range

Cons:
Heavy. I'm a big dude, so it's no issue. But for some, it's a problem.
Field stripping IS A BITCH. Taking apart is no problem, but those damned pins are hard to get to seat.
Some thermomold mags have trouble seating properly. If you can get metal, do so.
>>
>>34369209
>I'm a big dude,
For us?
>>
could the RFB be improved enough to be a service rifle in the US army?

the army talks about adopting a bigger bullet and being able to shoot further.
>>
>>34370894
It would probably be easier for them to just make the RDB bigger.
>>
>>34370894
It could, but it won't. They'd have to simplify the gas system. Make it a 3 or 4 position one instead of a 48 position one. They'd probably have to redesign the fore end to have more rails or keymod space for accessories and attachments.
>>
>>34371064
Both of those things would take about five minutes.
>>
>>34371073
>and then it would take them 5 years to manufacture enough of them for military testing
>>
>>34371073
And then you have to figure out how to mass produce them. Kel Tec has been making them for 10 years now and I don't think there are more than 25,000 in existence.
>>
>>34372166
Well, they could start by not cobbling them together in a naturally grown compound rather than an actual industrial environment.
>>
>>34372194
you can have my free-range organic artisanal RFBs when you pry them from my cold, dead hands
>>
>>34372194
That's gonna require redesigning then. Your tooling dictates a lot of what you can produce. It'll never be as cost effective as the M16 is now.

Now for a DMR or specialist type role it could work really well.
>>
>>34372261
DMRs are supposed to be accurate.
>>
>>34372269
The RFB is a 1.5-2.5 MOA gun. That is more than accurate enough to fit in a DMR role.
>>
>>34372312
The RFB is a 3MOA gun.
>>
>>34372316
No.

>>34372348

Hmmmm, should I believe the numerous people I know who own them including myself, or some retard on the internet who shills for them nonstop and lies about his round count to the tune of several decimals?

Hell nutnfancy said as much himself and despite his autism I trust his take on it a thousandfold over yours.
