"Beater shotgun" compared to what you fucking nigger? Auto shotguns are incredibly fragile or picky. Other pump actions are practically the same thing, except the maverick 88. That gun comes broken until you replace the forend with the 500 version. You want a high cost shotgun? The supernova. Sure it'll never justify it's cost over a 870 or 500, but it's at least as good as them.
